Fundraising Associate

Who we are
New Agriculture New Generation aims to create career and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth in the agrifood sector in Greece.  The organization was established under the initiative and with the founding support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), as part of its “Recharching The Youth” program and serves as a catalyst for innovation in the agrifood ecosystem.

What you will do
The position involves generating, cultivating, applying and supporting leads between New Agriculture New Generation and potential donors/sponsors and other private third-party funding sources.

Responsibilities include:

• Seeking out and identifying EU and other institutional funding opportunities
• Applying for and writing winning grant proposals to institutions/donors/sponsors
• Coordinating periodic reporting and managing donors/sponsors database
• Reporting to the Director of Communications and Fundraising

Who you are
• 2+ years of experience in a fundraising or sales and business development role
• You can provenly generate and cultivate business opportunities
• Work experience in the agricultural or food ecosystem is preferable but not mandatory
• Work experience in a similar fundraising position is preferable
• Team oriented, attention to detail, collaborative and transparent
• Fluent in proposal development in both Greek and English
