Research Manager
About Us
KMOP is dedicated to advancing individual and societal prosperity through research, policy development, and community engagement. We are seeking an experienced Research Manager to lead our dynamic research team, drive innovative methodologies, and produce impactful research outputs.
Main tasks:
· Lead the production of high-quality research and policy reports.
· Supervise and manage a team of researchers, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
· Plan and monitor, and oversee team members’ workplan and everyday tasks ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
· Collaborate with senior staff to support the development and training of the wider team.
· Develop and implement effective research methodologies, tools, and policy recommendations.
· Contribute to the creation of spin-off products from research outputs.
· Represent KMOP with key stakeholders – including local, regional, national and EU government actors, donors, research centres and think tanks.
· Maintain and further develop KMOP’s network with researchers and universities in Greece and internationally.
Skills, experience, and qualifications:
· PhD in a relevant field with extensive research experience, preferably in social issues and applied settings.
· Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure effective resource allocation and deadline adherence.
· Proficiency in developing and applying quantitative or qualitative research methods and tools.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences, and stakeholders.
· Proven team leadership experience with well-developed management skills.
· Ability to work under own initiative with a proactive approach to problem solving.
Additional Optional Qualifications (Considered a Plus):
· Demonstrated ability to work with modern quantitative methods and causal inference to support high-quality research and analysis.
· Knowledge of experimental methods (e.g., Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE)).
· Experience with statistical coding in R, Python, or Stata.
