Job title: Policy Research Intern

Job description & responsibilities:

• Providing research support on a broad range of sustainable development issues
• Completing research tasks as assigned, such as conducting literature reviews and background research
• Finding and organizing background data
• Undertaking qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Supporting the development of policy papers, studies, reports and briefing notes
• Participating in national and international events relevant to climate change and sustainability

Must have :

• Student or recent graduate of studies relevant to any of the following areas: Economics, Sustainability, Water Management, Forestry & Agriculture, Biology, Environmental Sciences or relevant discipline
• Strong interest in Environmental Policies
• Computer literate in standard software applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SPSS, Stata or a similar statistical package
• Excellent analytical, writing and quantitative skills
• Energetic self-starter with multi-tasking abilities and discipline with deadlines
• Detail-oriented
• Αbility to work remotely
• Excellent knowledge of English

• Former experience from similar internships or academic activities
• Volunteering experience
• Public Speaking/Presentation skills
