Sport for Development Educator (Farsi or Arabic speaker)

WORK SCHEDULE: 25 hours per week (including weekends)

SHORT DESCRIPTION: The sport educator plan, prepare and implement Sport for Good activities for children and adults.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Conduct sport activities through specific methodologies.

·       Provide knowledge about sport rules and techniques.

·       Convey specific values through sport.

·       Ensure that participants train and perform to a high standard of health and safety at all times.

·       Implement, manage and provide regular feedback about the program.

·       Document in pictures and videos Organization Earth’s athletic programs and when necessary, request permission from individuals portrayed therein.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Required

·       Excellent command of written and spoken Greek or English and Farsi or Arabic.

·       Experience implementing and managing children’s activities and sport programs.

·       Computer literate (i.e. MS Office).

·       Be able to organize a workload comprised of varying and changing tasks and responsibilities.

·       Commitment to humanitarian principles and values.

·       Be aware of equality and diversity issues.
